CHAR Fuego y Brasas has earned a prominent place in the gastronomic scene thanks to the expertise of its chef, Babacar, a true artist of fire. His ability to transform the finest products over flames and embers has allowed CHAR to elevate its prestige and specialize as a luxury steakhouse. This passionate focus on grilling has been praised by food critics both in Spain and internationally, placing it in the same conversation as renowned restaurants like Asador Etxebarri and Bodega El Capricho.

The move to Baobab Suites is not just a change of location but an evolution in our vision to provide an unparalleled dining experience to our guests. For about a month now, our hotel has been the new home of the best steakhouse in the Canary Islands, with the restaurant itself ensuring they have perfectly adapted without losing the essence that has made CHAR a benchmark in grilled cuisine.

This year, CHAR has been honored with 1 Sol Repsol, an accolade celebrating culinary excellence, and has been named the Best Steakhouse in the Canary Islands 2024 according to the Qué Bueno Canarias Guide. CHAR Fuego y Brasas’ hours are designed to cater to various needs and preferences. From Monday to Thursday, they open their doors from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM, while from Friday to Sunday, they offer lunch service from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM and dinner from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM. This schedule allows our guests and visitors to enjoy an exceptional dining experience at any time of the day.
